A Scots entertainer has performed a hilarious coronavirus take on an classic X-rated song for residents at a care home in Johnstone.

The track, which is also famous for the Tom Jones’ version for classic male stripper film The Full Monty, has been given a twist amid the pandemic.

The 29-year-old was filmed singing "You Can Leave Your Mask On" for excited residents and staff at Ranfurly Care Home on Wednesday.

While giving his grandparents George and Muriel King a laugh, the residents were quick to show their appreciation - one of the which can be seen waving some lingerie out the window.

The entertainer and DJ has missed out on a lot of work during the lockdown, but he's been thrilled to be given the opportunity to put a smile of the people's faces during these unprecedented times.

He told the Daily Record: “The pandemic has obviously hit places like these like a ton of bricks, so I’ve been doing performances here for a very low fee to try and raise spirits.

“It was my nana and my papa’s birthdays this week so I did this completely free. I usually give them Rat Pack or Nat King Cole, but my dad gave me the idea to end on a Tom Jones number.

“Its amazing what music does to people - I think a lot of them remember the lyrics more than they can remember my face.

“I struggled a wee bit at times, especially when my nana wanted me to come in and see her, but you just can’t risk that. It was so hard saying no.

“The staff here have been absolutely impeccable, I’ve got nothing much love and respect for them during such a difficult time. The communication they’ve had with families of residents throughout this has been first class.”
