Scots schoolgirls who vanished two days ago found 'safe and well'

Officers have found two missing schoolgirls who vanished two days ago. Kaitlin Dundas and Chelsea Marshall from Motherwell and Wishaw areas of North Lanarkshire disappeared on Saturday, April 15.

Chelsea had been last seen at around 12pm with Kaitlin being seen at around 1pm on the same day. Police have confirmed that the two 13 year olds have now been traced 'safe and well.'

Chelsea is described as 5ft tall and of slim build, with brown hair and blue eyes. She was last seen wearing a grey hoodie, black body warmer, black jogging bottoms and black & white trainers.

Kaitlin is described as 5ft tall and of petite build with long brown hair, brown eyes and fair skin. She was last seen dressed in black leggings, a purple hoody, black body warmer and black Converse trainers.

A spokesperson for Police Scotland said: "13-year-old Kaitlin Dundas and 13-year-old Chelsea Marshall, who were reported missing from Motherrwell have been found safe & well.

"Thanks to all who engaged with our appeal."
