An Aberdeenshire teacher is accused of calling pupils fat and intimidating them over a 10 month period.
The teacher at Westhill Academy allegedly called one pupil "dear" despite requests from her not to do so as well as stating that they wouldn't teach her because she had removed her jumper in class.
The same pupil was allegedly not allowed to sit with other pupils in the class without good reason, causing her to feel "isolated and picked on".
Teacher B, as they are being referred to is now facing a conduct hearing from the General Teaching Council for Scotland.
They will decide if the business studies teacher is fit to continue in education, reports Abderdeen Live.
It is alleged that the teacher told the class not to applaud another pupil's presentations because it was "not good enough to deserve applause" before describing work carried out by a third pupils as "horribly wrong" in front of his classmates.
The same pupil, who uses pink paper due to additional support requirements, was allegedly made to carry out the same work on white paper before throwing it in the bin in front of him.
Another pupil was allegedly distressed after being told they would be removed from the course if they did not do well enough in the assessment when this was not the case.
The GTCS will also assess claims that the teacher refused to help pupils, called them fat, swore in front of them and boasted about stealing chocolate bars from a school they were previously employed at.
The teacher allegedly asked pupils "do you know what this looks like?" or words to that effect after holding a bottle of liquid against their lap.
Further allegations state that the teacher lay down inappropriately in the corridor during a lesson and behaved unprofessionally towards colleagues.
It is claimed that another teacher's behaviour was described as "bullying" and "victimising" without any grounds.
During a meeting with the same teacher, they allegedly cowered in the corner of a room and stated: "What would it look like if someone passed your office and I am in the corner, like the depute head teacher was hitting me?" or words to that effect.
All of the allegations allegedly occurred between February and December 2017.
The hearing, scheduled to last six days, is due to begin today.
