Scots school boy goes missing sparking frantic police search to find him

A Scots school boy has gone missing sparking a frantic police search to find him.

Concerns are growing for Ruaridh Maclellan who suddenly vanished this morning from Strathpeffer.

The 15-year-old was last seen at around 8am walking along the A834 in the direction of Dingwall.

He is described as being about 5ft 8 ins, of slim build with medium length blond hair.

Ruaridh is believed to be wearing an orange Superdry jacket.

Cops are now urging anyone with information on his whereabouts to come forward.

Police Scotland said: "We are appealing for help to trace Ruaridh Maclellan, aged 15, reported missing from Strathpeffer.

"He was last seen around 8am this morning, Wednesday 14 July, walking along the A834 in the direction of Dingwall.

"Ruaridh is described as being about 5ft 8 ins, of slim build with medium length blond hair.

"Anyone with any information is asked to contact Police Scotland on 101, quoting reference number 2055 of 14 July."
