A Scot has been jailed for three years after being convicted of indecent practices towards two young girls.
Allan Fraser, 58, of Rokele Drive, Collin, was found guilty of four charges after a jury trial at Dumfries Sheriff Court.
He had denied the offences which happened over a period of eight years at addresses in Collin and Dumfries.
The court heard that on various occasions between May 1, 1992 and November 29, 1995, he used indecent practices towards a young girl by repeatedly ripping her tights off, repeatedly touching her on the body and entering her room while naked and watching her while she was in bed.
The attacks started when the girl was under the age of 10.
He also carried out similar acts on the same victim on various occasions between November 30, 1995 and March 31, 1996.
Fraser was also found guilty of using indecent practices towards the child on various occasions between April 1, 1996 and June 30, 1997.
The court was told that on one occasion he caused the girl to use cannabis and when she was asleep, removed her clothing, straddled her legs then touched them and her private parts and carried out an indecent act.
The fourth charge stated that on various occasions between April 21, 1989 and July 20, 1996 at addresses in Dumfries and Collin, he used indecent practices and behaviour towards a second victim under the age of 10.
The court heard that he ripped off her clothes and on numerous occasions entered her bedroom naked and one time lay behind her in a bed and touched her private parts.
In addition to the jail sentence, Fraser was placed on the sex offenders’ register indefinitely.
