A Scots perv was caught with a depraved haul of child pornography and videos of bestiality after a raid by cops.
Moray Easdale amassed disgusting videos and photos on his computer over nearly eight years, which predominantly showed young girls being abused.
The 54-year-old also had a sick collection of bestiality material which involved animals such as dogs.
Easdale appeared at Edinburgh Sheriff Court on Thursday and pled guilty to possessing both child and “extreme” porn.
The court heard how police officers swooped on the pervert’s home in the city’s Shandon area on February 1.
Fiscal depute Alan Wickham said an examination of Easdale’s computer found 1737 images, 42 of which were at Category A - the worst level.
Mr Wickham said 264 were Category B and 1431 were Category C.
The prosecutor said 23 videos were discovered with eight at Category A, eight at Category B, and seven at Category C.
Mr Wickham said the sordid material “predominantly featured female children”.
The court was told 268 images and three videos of “extreme” porn were found.
Mr Wickham said these involved “animals such as dogs”.
Easdale admitted possessing the child and “extreme” porn between October 24 2013 and February 1.
Sheriff Douglas Keir told Easdale: “These are very disturbing offences that you have pled guilty to.”
The sheriff deferred sentence until November for reports and placed Easdale on the sex offenders register.
