Police are appealing for witnesses after an elderly woman was pelted with eggs on a street in Wishaw.
The shocking incident took place in the Netherton area of the North Lanarkshire town on Sunday, April 25.
The 86-year-old woman was left ‘shaken’ following the incident where she was assaulted by the gang of youths on Kirkhill Street at around 7pm.
Local Police Scotland community officers are appealing for anyone with information about the attack to come forward in a bid to identify the culprits.
