Former Herald political editor Murray Ritchie complains that the Scottish press, in claiming that the polls show Scots overwhelmingly opposed to independence, is retailing a lie. In fact, he says the opposite is the case. He goes on to quote polls carried in several papers, including the Daily Mail and Daily Telegraph, that prove his point.
