A Fife nursery has been forced to close for two weeks after being linked to a positive case of coronavirus.
Parents of children who attend Torbain Nursery in Kirkcaldy have been told to keep their youngsters at home until at least September 29.
NHS Fife confirmed that an individual with links to the hub had tested positive but said that there is currently no evidence of any transmission within the school.
They added that the “risk to children and staff is low” and that all pupils who go to Torbain Primary School, which is connected to the nursery, should continue attending as normal.
The health board added: “Anyone who develops any of the established symptoms of the virus, such as a fever; or a loss or change in taste or smell; or a new and continuous cough, should arrange testing using the UK Government Citizens’ Portal.”
The latest closure comes just days after another positive case was linked to Lochgelly West Nursery on Wednesday.
All children and staff have also entered self-isolation until at least September 28.
