Scots mummy vlogger in hysterics in Youtube car clip as baby son shouts 'sh*te!' from the back seat

A Scots mummy vlogger struggled to keep it together while making a video after her baby son shouted swear words from the back seat.

Ayrshire mum Kara was filming for her You Tube  channel 'Bairn and a Backpack' when she mixed up her lines and had to retake and accidentally swore in the process.

In the hilarious clip the mum-of-one can be seen frustrated saying to husband Thomas: "Sh*te! So close, right last time", before two-year-old son Ben, shouts "Sh*ite, sh*te sh*te sh*te sh*te!".

Kara, 30, tries desperately to continue with her lines but fails to hold her laughter in as the toddler continues to swear from his booster seat.

Kara then bursts in to hysterics, saying to Thomas, 33, "That's my fault, that's totally my fault", as a giggling Ben still shouts "Sh*te" from behind her.

The 38 second clip was supposed to be a short video about hiking with a two-year-old which the Stewarton couple were filming to add to their ever-growing YouTube channel Bairn and a Backpack.

Kara added: "I couldn't get out what I wanted to say and I swore and then Ben just started repeating it over and over. It's taught me I need to watch my language, although I am secretly pleased 'sh*te' was his first swear word. It's a good one."

The couple, who run a language school, started the vlog during lockdown after having to halt their business due to Covid-19.

Kara said: "We just found ourselves with a lot of spare time and I decided it would be a great way to document our adventures and maybe connect with some other parents who like the same things or would love to try.

"Thomas, who is from Bavaria in Germany, and Kara are bringing Ben up to be bilingual and have also shared impressive videos of the tiny tot conversing with his parents in both languages.

Kara said: "I spent years studying languages and living all over Europe trying to perfect them, which is how I met Thomas, so I totally appreciate how fortunate Ben is to have the opportunity to be speaking both languages from such a young age."

Bairn and a Backpack, which also has a Facebook page, has only been going since April, but Kara has already been amazed at the number of views her video posts are getting.

She said: "It started as a bit of fun and a good way to create memories for Ben, but I've been amazed that thousands of people have watched our wee videos.

"I started off making two a week but I didn't really appreciate how much work goes into making each one so now, as we are coming out of lockdown we are making one a week, which is enough between raising a toddler and running a business.

"I want to keep doing it while it is still fun and then we will see what happens."
