Scots mummy blogger shares video showing difference between mum's day off and dad's

A Scots mummy blogger has shared a hilarious take on the differences between a woman's day off and a mans.

Mum-of-one Linzi posted the tongue-in-cheek video on Instagram which shows what she says is what she does in her spare time, versus what her hubby gets up to.

In the video the Motherwell-based blogger is seen looking tired as she completes various household chores, including cleaning, changing beds and doing laundry.

The video was tongue-in-cheek (Instagram)

The caption on the screen reads "My day off versus his day off".

In the last clip Linzi is seen wearing her husband's hoodie and a gaming headset and controller while she pulls a confused face to the camera.

Posting the video on her Instagram page 'WeeRedSpots, she said: "Do you have a day off and it comes with a huge mental to do list that means you don’t stop but your partner simply gets a day off?

"Or do you take your day off completely to yourself?

"Don’t get me wrong, my husband does certain things round the house but there are some things he never does and he will probably never sees that they even need done!"

Linzi told the record the post is meant in fun, and while her husband does help out around the house, he simply 'doesn't see the mess'.

She added: "I was just a laugh because every time I spoke to my friends, we were all saying the same thing.

"My husband does some jobs, doesn’t even see the mess half the time.

"As they say a woman’s work is never done!"

The video got a lot of comments from fellow mums who feel the same.

"So much truth in this!!" said another.
