A Scots mum is keeping her toddler busy on lockdown with a Rocky-style obstacle course in her livingroom.
Kathleen Wallace fashioned a fun training course from every day items in her home to entertain two-year-old daughter Lara while the family protect themselves from the coronavirus outbreak.
The 33-year-old set Lara to task to the theme tune from Rocky and the toddler certainly proved she had the eye of the tiger.
Kathleen, who is also mum to 11-week-old Cate, is in lockdown with husband Gavin, 37 and mum Liz MacMillan, 60.
She said the family, of Waterfoot, East Renfrewshire, are doing whatever they can to keep busy.
Speaking to the Record, Kathleen said: "We are in isolation, like everyone else right now, and it’s full on. Lara is two and I also have an 11 week old baby.
"Plus, my mum is in isolation with us, so we need to keep finding activities to keep us all going. The obstacle course got us all involved and Lara loved it, by the end of the day, she was a pro."
Kathleen says the family are hoping to replicate the obstacle course in the garden when the weather improves.
She added: "Obviously we hope that we won’t be isolated for too long but when the weather gets better, we will make use of the paddling pool, perhaps see if we can adapt it to the outdoors.
"Tomorrow, we are going to try out a glow party - which basically means closing the curtains, putting on little mix, which is Lara's favourite and chucking some glow sticks around. Hopefully that will entertain the little one too."
