Scots mum of missing schoolboy, 13, pleads 'come home son, you're not in any trouble'

A Scots mum has appealed to her missing 13-year-old son to come home.

Gillian Dempster hasn't seen schoolboy Johnjay since he left the house with a pal on Monday afternoon.

Now she's taken to Facebook to beg for help in tracing the lad, who has refused to tell her where he is.

The worried Glasgow mum launched a search yesterday when Johnjay and his friend failed to return home.

She said: "Last communion with Johnjay and myself was at 11.30pm last night (Monday) to say he was staying with a pal, and then again 5.30pm tonight (Tuesday) to say he was coming home but hasn’t returned.

"He’s 13 years old, please share this for me everyone to try trace his whereabouts. He normally keeps in contact even if he's running late.

"Johnjay if you see this please just come home or make some contact pal your not in any trouble."

The frantic mum says police have joined in the search for Johnjay, last known to be in the Knightswood area.

And she revealed that he has since been back in touch but refused to tell her where he is.

She added: "Johnjay made contact, but won’t give me his whereabouts, police are looking for him and his pal. Anyone with information please mail me to give to the police."

Call police on 101 if you know where Johnjay is.
