Scots mum accused of 'paedophile behaviour' over macaroni cheese and Heinz tomato soup mash-up

A Scots mum who fed her fussy daughter a mash-up of her two favourite meals has been trolled and accused of 'paedophile behaviour'.

Lauren Denholm says she is disgusted and furious after internet sickos branded her a 'paedo' and a 'nonce' after she mixed packet macaroni cheese with Heinz tomato soup.

The mum-of-two saw the concoction being shared on a Snapchat by another mum who said her fussy-eater child devoured it.

Lauren showed it to four-year-old daughter Wynter who immediately loved the idea and pleaded with her mum to serve it up.

After Wynter devoured the dish, the 25-year-old decided to share the idea in case other parents were struggling with inventive ways to feed their kids.

The post was shared almost 600 times but Lauren, from West Lothian, was shocked after she started receiving a barrage of abuse from people sharing the post and making 'disgusting' comments about her, including vile taunts of 'paedo', 'manky' and one person even saying "You and your daughter gee me the boke."

One post said: "What sort of wrong yin type of creature would do that! F******g boggin."

"Paedo food that," said another.

"Pedophile behaviour," agreed a third

"Manky Wuman," added a fourth.

Another chimed in: "Straight up nonce behaviour."

One man even went as far to say it ruined his week. He said: "It is 10.21am on a Monday morning and my WEEK has been ruined. That is absolutely honkatonk. Sitting here ragin. Get this idea so far south away from me."

Another agreed the food mash-up made her angry, adding: "that's made me ragin."

Another ranted: "Na f**k that, someone phone the police."

Furious Lauren said the comments left her reeling.

She said: "I get it, some people don't like certain food combinations. Fine. But the abuse I got was absolutely appalling. Why on earth are people so, so angry about it?

"They are accusing me of all sorts of bizarre behaviour but they are the ones making vile comments about a wee girl. The should get a grip."

But not everyone hated the idea.

One said: "That looks class!!! What a game changer."

Another added: "Add grated cheese on top tastes even better."

While others came up with their own interesting food combinations.

One said: "Pasta and a tin of meatballs in tomato sauce with cheese on top."

Another added: "Make it into a bake covered in crushed crisps and cheese then grilled."

"Pasta, tomato soup, chopped up hotdogs, cheese. That is the one!" added another.
