Scots man says he 'needs to see doctor' after grim find in Chinese takeaway

A Scots man was left physically sick after tucking into his beef dish from a local Chinese takeaway, only to find a used plaster in his food.

Przemek, from Leith in Edinburgh, is considering seeking medical help after the disgusting ordeal involving the plaster, which he suspects came from a member of staff preparing his meal.

The 19-year-old said he has tried to contact the eatery to complain but their number just rings out. He is now scared of falling ill, reports Edinburgh Live.

He said: “Tonight my partner and I decided to order some food online due to tiredness and lack of food at home. We ordered food from a Chinese restaurant, with my partner and I having vegetable fried rice and beef fillet with black pepper and honey sauce.

“During the meal I struggled to chew the food so I took it out of my mouth and found that what I was struggling to chew was actually a used plaster that was stuck together like a ring.

The man suspects it fell off a staff member's finger and into his plate (Edinburgh Live)

“I’m assuming it must have fallen off of a cook's finger or someone else that was preparing the food, god knows who's.

“I literally threw up in the toilet straight away, that's how disgusted I was by this horrible experience and I think I should see the doctor for a check up in case I am poisoned.

“I've sent a photo of it as proof. I tried to contact the restaurant through the phone number provided by JustEat but I received no answer.

“I’m also planning on contacting Edinburgh Council - I’ve never experienced anything like this in my life.”

Edinburgh Live contacted the restaurant was contacted for comment.
