Scots man left stunned after spotting 'Jesus' on Glasgow Ikea toilet door

A Scottish man was stunned when he spotted Scots woman can 'see Jesus' in Notre Dame flames - and she's not alone on a shopping trip to Ikea today.

Chris Kelly, 43, was visiting the Barrhead branch of the store in Glasgow when the son of God appeared on the back of a toilet door.

Chris, from Irvine , was at the store with his pal when he nipped to the male toilets and admits he had to double take at what caught his eye.

He said: "I had to actually go back and take a second look at it.

"I couldn't believe my eyes. It's quite clearly him.

"I've showed the photo to my wife and workmates and they all agree that it's there. It's as clear as day."

Chris also revealed it's the second time Jesus as appeared before him but others weren't convinced about his first sighting.

He said: "I've seen this before. I opened an packet of crisps and his face was on one of them. But when I showed it to my wife she thought I was daft!"

Yesterday we told how a woman from Helensburgh also thought she saw Jesus appear in the burning flames of Notre Dame.

Lesley Rowan, from Alexandria in West Dunbartonshire, reckoned she could see the silhouette of the son of God in one of the pictures.

The 38-year-old said: "When I looked at this photo I was really astounded by what I saw.

"I see a silhouette of Jesus. I really see a vivid image.

"I shared it and asked for people's opinions - even my brother in Australia said it looks like Jesus.

"I feel like it will bring comfort to people in Paris and all over the world at this sad time."

But Irvine man Chris wasn't so convinced Lesley's vision.

He said: "When I saw yesterdays photo I couldnt' see Jesus all.

"I don't even know if I believe in this stuff. Its more just hopeful thinking.
