A Scots man has been charged after a 73-year-old woman has been seriously injured in a two-vehicle crash.
A Police Scotland spokesperson said: “Around 6:10pm on Monday, 14 June, we received a report of a two vehicle crash on A1, Gateside in Cupar.
“Officers attended and the road was closed for a short time to allow for investigation and uplift of the vehicles and reopened around 7pm.
"A 73-year-old woman suffered serious injury and was taken to Victoria Hospital for treatment and has since been discharged.
“A 22-year-old man has been charged in connection with the incident, a report will be sent to the Procurator Fiscal."
