Scots Love Island contestant Lucinda Stafford is still meant to be dating her footballer ex, it is claimed.
Lucinda, whose mum is Scottish, has been causing tongues to wag as well as a lot of confusion after insiders claimed she got back with her footballer ex before going on the show.
The online fashion boutique owner and former air hostess, is still meant to be seeing 21-year-old Brighton footballer Aaron Connolly.
The couple has been seeing one another for two years before they split up due to reports of Aaron's infidelity in March.
And it was reported in The Sun that Aaron 'considers her to be his girlfriend' and is even dog sitting her pet pooch while she's on the show,
Aaron reportedly also took Lucinda to the airport to catch her flight to Majorca for the programme.
Lucinda who got with Brad, before viewers voted them the least compatible, also hit it off with Aaron, even though she just body swerved his kiss, and was picked by new boy Danny.
An insider said: "Lucinda and Aaron reconciled before she went on Love Island. It was meant to be a big secret because there are strict rules about it.
"No one wants to watch a dating show where the stars are really pining for lovers back home.
"Aaron was only too happy looking after Lucinda’s dog. It makes him feel like they are still the couple they are."
Teacher Hugo Hammond and model Shannon Singh were also meant to have recently split with their partners for the show.
