Former Scots Love Island star Biggs Chris has revealed the great news that he is going to be a dad for the first time as he announced on his social media that his girlfriend Summerica Hawkins is pregnant.
Biggs Chris, 31, excitedly shared the news with fans on his Instagram page. The couple have been dating for around two years, and began their relationship not long after Chris split from his previous reality star partner Rebecca Gormley.
The sweet 'big reveal' clip featured Biggs' and Summerica's journey together so far from the moment the 28-year-old found out she was pregnant to their first scan. Sumerica broke down into tears as she set eyes on the 'positive' test result.
"We've been keeping our little blessing secret," Biggs captioned the post as the mum-to-be was seen in the video reel surprising him with the news with a box of tests.
The Glasgow-born former Love Island star, who appeared on the dating show in 2020, was flooded with well-wishes from co-stars who rushed to to comment on the post.
Luke Mabbott posted: "Me and Lucie are so happy for you guys. You're going to be amazing parents!!," while Callum Jones added: "Congrats my man."
Prior to dating Sumerica, Chris dated his former Love Island girlfriend Rebecca Gormley. They were both cast as bombshells on the original South Africa series and dated for nearly two years.
Geordie model Rebecca revealed they had split in August 2021 after fans noticed they had stopped sharing loved-up snaps on their social media pages, with Chris later revealing the true reason for their separation.
“We broke up because we want different things," Biggs previously told The Sun.
“Rebecca’s more of a party girl, but I want a family and business and just to work work work."
The series was eventually won by Finley Tapp and Scottish contestant Paige Turley, who shocked their fans by announcing they had split last month.
