Scots holiday makers have slammed a hotel as being a 'hellhole dump' after claiming their room wasn't ready when they arrived at 3am.
Paul Evans, his partner and two other family members flew back to Manchester Airport after a holiday to the Greek island of Cos and headed for the Manchester Airport Inn in Wilmslow.
The group, from Hawick in the Scottish borders, were disappointed when they realised their room at the Britannia-run establishment wasn't ready when they arrived, the Mirror reports.
When they went upstairs 15 minutes later they found dirty bed linen dumped in the bath and also claimed there was no sanitiser, soap or toilet roll, they claimed.
Two hours after arriving and lying on top of the bed fully clothed, Paul, 52, and the others decided to leave.

He contacted The Mirror to relay his "nightmare" experience after reading our review of the Britannia Hotel in Bournemouth - an establishment many have judged to be the worst in the UK, but one he believes is positively luxurious compared to the Airport Inn Manchester.
"What a dampener to have to stay in that hellhole after your holiday," Paul told The Mirror.
"It is a total disaster. It looked like a halfway house with some of the people in there.
"I don't want anyone to go there. It's a dump."
Paul decided to book into the Airport Inn Manchester to avoid a long, sleep deprived flight back home from the airport in the early hours.

His ears first pricked up when the group were asked to pay £148 in advance for the two double rooms, rather than at the end of their stay.
They said they arrived at 3am to find a singular member of staff dealing with two guests who were drinking beer in the reception.
He continued: "I showed the man my receipt and he said the room wasn't ready. He said there were 50 rooms here that were not cleaned.
"I had booked the room two weeks ago. How can your room not be ready at 3am?"
Paul said the employee went away with some sheets and returned 15 minutes later.
"The corridors to each room were full of dirty plates laid outside," Paul said.
"In the room there was no soap and no toilet roll, and the sheets and quilts were just thrown in the bath.
"It was 4.30am in the morning. We just lay with our clothes and shoes on on top of the quilt until 6.30am.
"There was tooth paste in the sink and on the floor, and the carpet was filthy. There was no sanitiser in the room and the general condition was appalling.
Paul has attempted to get a refund for the botched stay, but has been frustrated by a customer service system he has found difficult to use and confusing.

The school bus driver decided to contact The Mirror after reading our review of the Britannia Hotel in Bournemouth.
Based on the fact it is the most poorly reviewed of the Britannia hotels, which has been voted the UK's worst hotel chain for eight years in a row - and given Trip Advisor refuses to publicly list its lowest ranked spots - the venue is at very least in contention to be named the worst in the country.
Online people variously complain that the hotel's rooms smell of weed, they're dirty, they would have been "worn and dated in the '70s" and they're strewn with used knickers and leggings.
"I do not know how this hotel is still up and taking bookings. I cried myself to sleep," one reviewer wrote on Trip Advisor.
However, Paul believes the Airport Inn Manchester beats its Bournemouth counterpart to the bottom spot.
