A sorry Scots girlfriend has gone viral after trying to make up with her man with a heartfelt note attached to a sausage supper.
The woman had the meal sent from McMonagle's Boat, docked on the Forth & Clyde Canal at Clydebank, as she tried to make amends for 'acting like a c**t'.
Glasgow Live reports that the order, for a sausage supper, buttered roll, coleslaw and Monster energy drink, came complete with a heartfelt apology, with the girlfriend baring her soul after admitting she was in the wrong.
It read: "Contact-free delivery. Buying this for my boyfriend because I was a c*nt so trying to suck up and he's blocked me so can yous put a note in saying sorry and I love u and if he doesn't answer just leave it at the door thanks."
Posting an image of the receipt on Facebook, McMonagle's Boat added: "Nobody apologises better than the Scottish lol.
"Best delivery comment of the month."
Fellow Scots enjoyed the novel way of apologising- and hoped that their better halves would go for a similar method.
One user said: "if you’re ever doing this to get out the bad books, make sure it’s a chips, cheese and curry and a bottle of Irn Bru."
Another added: "I will accept a steak pie and an ice blast for future reference."
