Scots girl missing from Highlands 'has connections to Inverness' found safe and well

A desperate search launched for a missing Scots teen who vanished after being spotted in the early hours has ended after she was found safe and well.

Danielle Cameron was last seen in the Dochcarty Road area of Dingwall just after midnight on Saturday, December 11.

The 16-year-old is also thought to have connections in the Inverness area.

She is described as white, around 5ft 2ins, of average build with long, light brown hair.

She is believed to have been last seen wearing a black and orange puffer-style coat.

Cops are urging anyone with information to come forward as they try to trace the missing teen.

A Police Scotland spokespersons said: "Anyone with information regarding Danielle’s whereabouts should contact Police Scotland on 101 quoting incident number 0073 of Saturday, 11 December, 2021."
