Concern is growing for the welfare of a teenage girl who vanished after leaving a Wishaw hospital almost two days ago.
Kerys Lynch was last seen leaving the medical hub at around 9.30pm on Wednesday, July 14, before being reported missing.
The 13-year-old, who has links to Ayrshire, is described as being white, 5ft 2ins tall, of a medium build and has dyed red/black hair.
At the time of her disappearance, she was wearing a green t-shirt with a black t-shirt underneath, grey leggings, black trainers and a brown chequered ‘Gucci’ baseball cap.
A statement from Police Scotland said: “We’re appealing for the public’s help as part of our efforts to trace a female reported missing in Wishaw.
“Kerys Lynch was last seen leaving Wishaw Hospital around 9.30pm on Wednesday, 14th July 2021.
“The 13-year-old has not been seen since and there are growing concerns for her welfare.
“Kerys is described as white, 5ft 2ins tall, medium build, with dyed red/black hair.
“When last seen she was wearing a green t-shirt with a black t-shirt underneath, grey leggings, black trainers, and a brown chequered 'Gucci' baseball cap.
“Kerys also has links to the Ayrshire area.
“Anyone who may have seen Kerys since this time, or who has any information which could be relevant, is urged to contact Police Scotland via 101 quoting incident number 3809 of 14 July.”
