Scots firm looking for outdoor couple to work at stunning Loch Lomond site

A top family-run Scottish holiday firm is seeking the ideal couple to come and work at one of its stunning holiday parks on the banks of Loch Lomond.

Argyll Holidays is looking for a couple who love being on the go and meeting new people to live on site at the Loch Lomond Holiday Park as Park Wardens.

Posting the job ad, the firm, which runs eight holiday parks across Scotland including Dunoon and Lochgoilhead said: "Are you a couple who likes to work, rest and play together? Are you both looking for your next adventure?

"How does waking up to the stunning views of Loch Lomond every day sound?"

Argyll Holidays is looking for a couple to work as park wardens (Argyll Holidays)

They added that the roles for the 'Park Warden Couple' (live-in) offer access to great staff benefits including free access to a gym and swimming pool and generous discounts on holidays.

There are also endless water-based activities on the doorstep, with lots of local walks as well as numerous opportunities for development including access to training and progressions within the company.

The firm says they also offer free transportation to parks as well as 12 hours’ worth of driving lessons and weekly training, to ensure constant learning and development.

A spokesperson from Argyll Holidays said: "As well as being an amazing place to holiday, Argyll Holidays is also a great place to work and is looking to fill positions throughout the 8 awards winning parks, from Dunoon to Lochgoilhead!"

The couple will undertake appropriate duties and tasks to assist in the day to day smooth running of the site ensuring that excellent standards and customer service is delivered to all customers.

Roles & Responsibilities:

  • To handle customer queries and deal with matters as and when they arise in prompt and effective fashion.
  • Responsible for the general upkeep of all holiday park facilities.
  • Perform housekeeping duties ensuring that the hire fleet is ready for guests adhering to timescales.
  • Support reception / park shop as required, dealing with all queries as required.

Experience & Skills:

  • Housekeeping, grounds and maintenance experience
  • Customer service experience
  • Positive, can do attitude
  • Excellent communication and people skills
  • Clean UK Driving Licence
