A Scots ferry was forced to take an emergency reroute after a vehicle on board burst into flames.
Emergency services including the coastguard, fire crews, and the RNLI scrambled to Tobermory on the Isle of Mull after the fire took hold in the car deck of Calmac Ferries' MV Isle of Lewis.
The boat was travelling between Oban and Castlebay before it was forced to stop when the blaze started from the fridge of a camper van.
Fire crews battled the flames before they spread and thankfully no-one was injured as a result of the blaze.
A spokesperson for the Craignure Coastguard Rescue Team said they were paged to assist the emergency response after the incident happened at around 3.30pm on Tuesday, June 22.
Also on scene was the Tobermory to Kilchoan ferry in case it was required to transfer passengers off the ferry.
The Coastguard spokesperson said: "When the teams arrived on scene the ferry crew had brought the fire under control.
"The Lifeboat then transferred three fire crew over to the ferry to confirm all was safe and secure.
"The Coastguard teams help to maintain a secure area around the lifeboat pier and redirecting ferry traffic to a standby area.
"After confirmation that all was safe and secure on the ferry and all assets were back on dry land the teams were stood down and returned to base with the ferry continuing its journey to Castlebay.
"Good inter agency working with SFRS, RNLI, Coastguard, Police and Calmac.
"If you see someone in difficulty or something you are concerned about on the shoreline, beaches, cliffs, mud or water, call 999 immediately and ask for the Coastguard."
