A Scottish fashionista has revealed how to organise the clothes in your wardrobe into different colours.

Kristina-Marie Ross, from Dunfermline, Fife, shared the incredible cleaning hack on Tik Tok and explained how to achieve a rainbow closet while making everything neat and tidy.

The social media specialist, 27, decided to spruce up her wardrobe during lockdown to give her motivation in the morning and inspire her outfits.

She told the Record: "The thing that keeps me going through quarantine is wearing my favourite outfit in the morning.

"As lockdown has dragged on, I’ve been less motivated to shower and get ready like I used to.

"Having an organised and inspiring wardrobe helps me find inspiring outfits daily".

"I have a lot of clothes - I am somewhat obsessed with fashion - and one thing which perks me up in quarantine is wearing colourful things.

"So I thought it would be a fun idea to organise my drawers by different colours.

"Since I love monochrome looks, it’s made things much easier and I look more coordinated even if I haven’t showered.

So how can you colour coordinate your wardrobe? Kristina takes us through the steps in her video.

  1. Take everything out of your drawers and closet and lay them on your bed
  2. Organise the clothes into piles of colour
  3. Fold up each pile and put them away in their colour group. You put colour groups together to make them fit
  4. For the clothes that don't fall into a colour category, take their strongest colour and add them to the piles
  5. If you have a lot of black and white, you can put them together too
  6. You will be left with a stunning rainbow wardrobe
