Scots drug dealer ordered to hand over £35,000 from criminal activities

An electrician who dealt cocaine for a crime gang has been ordered to hand over almost £35,000.

Prosecutors had alleged that David Kiddy had made more than £70,000 from drug dealing but the Crown yesterday agreed to accept the lesser amount.

Perth Sheriff Court heard that the parties had agreed £34,677 was what should be handed back as the proceeds of Kiddy’s criminal activities.

Kiddy, 29, of Invergowrie in Perthshire, was last year jailed for 12 months after he pled guilty to being concerned in the supply of cocaine in Canal Street, Perth.
