An urgent search has been launched for a Scots doctor who suddenly vanished from her home in South Lanarkshire.
Cat Gaskell works NHS Lanarkshire has now been missing for nearly two days after disappearing from Cambuslang around 8pm on Saturday August 14.
Friends and family are growing concerned for her safety having not heard from her since she went missing.
Her partner Robbie Thomson has since put out a desperate appeal on social media in a bid to track her down.
He said: "My partner has been missing since last night.
"She left our house on foot at around 8pm, I have ring doorbell footage.
"Her family and friends haven't heard from her and the police are involved.
"Looking to see if anyone has CCTV footage which might have picked her up at that time.
"She was wearing a light blue/ grey jumper and had a shoulder strap hangbag."
Police Scotland said: "Ms Gaskell has been missing from Cambuslang since Saturday, 14 August"
