Scots dad sends son video burning his 'manky' trainers after teen borrows his clothes

This is the hilarious moment a cheeky Scots dad burns a pair of his son's trainers while he's at a music festival .

Mick Adamson, 50, agreed to let son Dylan wear his Pretty Green T-shirt at last weekend's Fly Open Air in Edinburgh - but only if he agreed to throw the pair of "ripped" shoes in the bin.

The unsuspecting teenager agreed as he wanted to celebrate recently becoming an apprentice electrical engineer.

But at the rave Dylan, 18, from Dumfries, was sent the video of his laughing dad burning his trusted pair of trainers.

In the clip, the tree surgeon jokes "That's your trainers f***ed now son!" before warming his hands on the fire.

Dylan's sister Corrye - who posted the video on Twitter - said: "My dad's been moaning at him for months to get rid of these old, manky trainers which were ripped and falling apart.

"I was actually in the house at the time my dad set them on fire, but didn't realise!"

"Dylan sent me the video he received while at the festival.

"He's raging now and keeps asking my dad to buy him new ones, but he's having none of it!

"Dad keeps telling 'when I was your age I was always buying new stuff!'. It's so funny."
