An Ayrshire dad has gone viral after his daughter filmed his hilarious attempt at the 'hot and spicy juice' challenge.
After a quiet breakfast at XS Stock, Irvine dad Thomas Docherty was persuaded by his daughter Chelsea to sample a five-alarm American treat on sale in the warehouse.
Thomas glugged down the lime-coloured juice inside a packet of Van Holten's Jumbo Hot & Spicy Pickle-In-a-Pouch.
In the scene, Thomas splutters the spicy pickle juice so much his false teeth fall out and Chelsea falls to the ground laughing.
The video has garnered over 4,000 views and still climbing.
Devoted Thomas said: "Chelsea can talk me into anything, I'm her dad. Even though I hate spicy food!
"It was a big gherkin floating in juice and it kept getting hotter until I couldn't handle it and had to spit it out - my teeth went flying.
"Chelsea is always pranking me. She's done hundreds of things over the years but I've no plans to get her back because she'll get me back worse.
"I'm only out of the hospital five weeks ago with heart trouble and this is what they've got me doing.
"Watch this space, she might end up filming more pranks but I won't be trying that juice again."
The Pickle-In-a-Pouch starts from 99p and has seen many film their reaction to the eating challenge.
The fiery treat comes in four flavours; Dill, Kosher, Hot, and Sour.
