Scots dad's coronavirus rant goes viral when he panics about being locked in house with own kids

A Scots comedian has gone viral after saying he is terrified of being locked in the house with his own children because of coronavirus .

Gary Faulds has had the Internet in stitches after posting the hilarious take on the global crisis.

In the lighthearted video, father-of-four Gary sits in his car and says the prospect of self-isolating with his kids is "my idea of hell"

He says: "Italy, the pasta people. The people who gave us pizza, the people who make us fat, have shut all the schools. This scares me more than anything,  because I've got four weans. See if I need to be isolated in a house with my own weans...

"I already struggle with Easter and the Summer holidays, that's already a mental block. I need to build myself up for school holidays.

"There's people in Italy in the jails rioting because they're getting isolated. You're in the f****** jail, that's the whole point.

"This is Armageddon. For single people it'll be f****** brilliant. Sitting in your gaff, catching up in Netflix. Spending it with your single loved one with no weans.

"See as a da with four weans, this is my idea of hell, man. Sitting with my weans, all snottery and slabbery, spending time together, getting to know each other.

The video has racked up more than 60,000 views (Gary Faulds)

"My older wens are brilliant, the younger ones are annoying, they just scream and greet.... Spend eight weeks in your house with your weans? I couldn't think of anything worse."

The video has racked up more than 60,000 views and almost 2,000 shares, with viewers calling Gary "brilliant".

And other frazzled parents seem to agreed with the Springburn comedian.

One saying: "I couldn't think of anything worse than being locked down with my weans too."

"Totally agree thats my biggest fear," added another.

Another said: "Omg if they close the schools I'm going to self quarantine in the pub."

If he doesn't get quarantined, the comedian is due to go on tour at the end of this month and into April with a new show.
