A Scottish record-breaking cyclist has been left with serious injuries after a high speed crash in Dubai yesterday.
Josh Quigley, who's originally from Livingston in West Lothian, was travelling at around 40mph during his training in the UAE on Tuesday 26 January.

The 28-year-old has been left with a number of excruciating injuries, including a fractured spine, pelvis and collarbone.
He's currently being treated in hospital while he awaits surgery.
Posting on Facebook, he said: "I’ve had a crash on the bike and ended up in hospital.
"No cars involved, but I did come off the bike pretty hard whilst descending down a hill at about 35-40mph."
"Not sure the exact confirmed injuries yet but looking like I have multiple fractures - three on my pelvis, two on my shoulder/collarbone area, one on my elbow and one on my spine."
It's not the first time Quigley has faced injury from his sport, last year he suffered life-threatening injuries while riding across the USA after being hit by a car.
A few months he broke the world record for cycling the famous 516-mile North Coast 500 Highland route, by knocking six minutes off the previous time recorded.
