A creep sent his ex-girlfriend a picture of his privates during a five-month campaign of harassment.
Greg Milligan, 31, bombarded the woman with phone calls, messages and a photograph of his genitals after they had separated.
Milligan appeared at Paisley Sheriff Court yesterday and pleaded guilty to a charge of engaging in a course of conduct that placed his ex-girlfriend in a state of fear and alarm.
He did this by phoning her, sending messages and sending a photograph of his private parts, and refusing to stop doing it when asked to.
The offences took place at a house in the Neilston area, and elsewhere, on dates between August 1, 2020 and January 1, 2021.
Defence agent Michael McKeown confirmed his client, of Gartcosh, North Lanarkshire, was admitting responsibility for the offence.
The court had called for background reports in preparation for sentencing, however, it emerged a further report was needed.
Mr McKeown said: “He pleaded guilty to the matter and a report was called for.
“However, he may benefit from a supplementary report before sentencing.”
Sheriff Eoin McGinty said he was calling for an assessment on whether Milligan can be placed on the Caledonia Project, which tackles violence and domestic abuse against women in the Greater Glasgow area.
He told Milligan: “I have studied reports but there is an additional recommendation.
“I would like the full picture to see what sentence is needed and to see whether you may benefit from attending such a programme.”
Milligan was reminded to cooperate with social workers and he will appear back to court on August 17 when he will discover his fate.
