Scots couple's plea after beloved dogs go missing at Rest and be Thankful beauty spot

A Scots couple have issued a desperate plea for information after their two dogs went missing at the top of Ben Donich.

Frankie, a collie, and Griffin, a bearded collie, were last seen at the Brack at the top of Ben Donich, near the Rest and Be Thankful in Argyll, on Friday.

Worried owner Gael Fletcher issued an appeal on Facebook after her family searched the for five hours for the dogs.

She said she and partner Gordon are becoming “frantic with worry” and their children are “devastated”.

She had been missing since Friday, October 2 and “last seen heading for the river or up the hill”.

Frankie is described as a red Merle male collie, while Griffin is a black and white bearded collie.

They have urged anyone with information to get in contact.
