A Scots couple were left in tears after finding their beloved missing dog thanks to a hi-tech drone and a clever trap.
Meghan Savage, 29, and Mark Savage, 29, searched for adorable Pomeranian Aurora for ten days as she suddenly vanished from Cumnock after being spooked on walk.
The heartbroken pair even slept in their car and camped in fields near where their pet had been last seen in a desperate bid to find her.

Then charity Drone SAR For Lost Dogs UK stepped in by offering to set up a cage and cameras to find the two-year-old pet.
They used a drone to search the area before setting up the trap with fish as bait on Saturday and Aurora was found safe and sound inside the trap on Sunday at 1pm.
The adventurous wee dog has now been nicknamed 'Aurora The Explorer' after the popular children's character, Dora.
Meghan told the Daily Record: 'It was the worst ten days of my life I cried every day.’
“We were so heartbroken but refused to give up looking for her but had no idea where exactly she was we just knew she had been spotted near a local farm a few times.
“Drone SAR For Lost Dogs set up the trap on Saturday and I thought it take ages to find her but on Sunday I got a notification from the camera and saw her go inside.

“It was the best moment ever. We rushed down and when she saw me she started jumping up and down in the cage. I couldn't believe it.”
Meghan and Mark took Aurora to the emergency vet who confirmed she was perfectly healthy despite worn paws and being slightly dehydrated.
Her family believes she was hiding out at a nearby farm and stealing cat food to get by.
Meghan added: “I was shaking when we found her but was so happy I bawled my eyes out.
“I had thought she was dead, it was so scary.

“Aurora has lost a bit of weight and is scared of loud noises but other than that she seems back to herself.
“We don’t know what she has gone through but she is now jumping about and eating scrambled eggs so seems like she is going to be okay.”
