The 23-year-old victim is said to have sustained a minor head injury in the rammy.

Police are now looking to speak to two men seen in the area at the time driving a silver BMW 1 series car with black alloy wheels.

Descriptions have been released of the men.

One is described as aged 25 to 30-years old, around 6ft. of stocky build with brown hair, a receding hairline and stubble.

He was wearing a grey and black tip, grey joggers and black shoes.

The second man is described as also aged 25 to 30-years old but no further details are available.

A police spokesman added: "Anyone who saw the vehicle around the time of the incident or anything suspicious is asked to call us on 101, quoting incident 2607 of Sunday, 14 March.

"Anyone with dash-cam footage or private CCTV that might help is also asked to get in touch."
