Man missing from Scots town found safe and well

Police in Cumbernauld have confirmed a man who vanished from the area has been traced.

Austin Wiliamson-Gardner was last seen at around 4.10pm on Thursday, March 23 in the area of Mitchell Road in the North Lanarkshire town.

Officers say he has since been found, and is safe and well.

Members of the public have been thanked for sharing the cop appeal.

A Police Scotland spokesperson said: "Thank you for sharing our appeal regarding missing 24-year-old Austin Williamson-Gardner, who was missing from Cumbernauld.

"Austin has been traced safe."
