Scots cops hunt driver and passenger who fled two-car crash in Clydebank

A search has been launched for two people who left the scene of a car crash on a Scots roundabout.

Two cars collided on the turning at East Barns Street in Clydebank, West Dumbartonshire last night at around 10.05pm.

A 46-year-old man suffered injuries which are not thought to be serious.

But when police arrived on the scene the driver and passenger of the other motor had vanished.

The makes and models of the cars is unknown at this time.

A Police Scotland spokeswoman said they were now looking to find the missing driver and passenger from the other vehicle.

She said: "We received a report of a two car collision at a roundabout on East Barns Street, Clydebank, around 10.05pm on Friday, 23 October.

"A 46-year-old man from one car was not believed to be seriously injured. The driver and passenger of the second car left the scene and enquiries are ongoing to trace them."
