Scots cops hunt 'Catch Me If You Can' fraudster who is on the run

Police are hunting a notorious conwoman who is on the run after allegedly swindling dozens of hotel customers out of money in a bank and credit card sting.

Pauline Flett has previously been arrested over frauds and uses a number of different aliases.

The 34-year-old was caught in 2016 after years of evading justice .

Flett, from Buckie in Banffshire, was arrested over numerous frauds.

Police are now appealing for information (Stuart Vance)

She had taunted cops, once she even shamelessly posted a selfie with an officer on social media.

Flett was sentenced at Livingston Sheriff Court in June 2016 and ordered to pay compensation for embezzling £1159 from a Shell service station in July 2008.

She's often been referred to as Batgirl as she has a bat tattoo on her arm.

In 2017 we told how she was one of Scotland's most wanted fraudsters.

Flett, right, is nicknamed Batgirl because of a tattoo on her arm (Facebook)

She is described as white, 5’6” and medium build with blue eyes.

She has pierced ears and a tattoo on left arm of a bat on a heart (now possibly full sleeve tattoo).

A spokesperson from Police Scotland said: "Anyone who knows her whereabouts or who may have information that will help officers in tracing her should contact 101 and quote incident number 1784 when calling.

"Information can also be passed anonymously to Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111."
