Scots cops appeal to public to help trace teen who vanished on Sunday afternoon

Concerns are growing for a teenager who vanished from a Scots town this afternoon.

Aimee Moody, who is also known as Alex, was last seen in Glenrothes, Fife, at around 3pm today, Sunday, September 26.

Earlier today we told how Police Scotland had launched a manhunt to trace another teen, 17-year-old Callum Tonge, who has been missing from the same town for three days.

Officers said Aimee/Alex, 14, was last seen in the Stuart Road area of Glenrothes and is described as being around 4ft 9ins tall.

The force said the teen is of slim build, with short brown hair and blue eyes, and was last seen wearing a black hooded top, black jeans and carrying a black Vans backpack.

The youngster is known to frequent the Macedonia area of Glenrothes and officers are appealing for anyone who has any information to get in touch.

Anyone with any information is asked to contact 101 quoting incident 0025 of September 26.
