Scots commentator Andrew Cotter's hilarious voice-over on dog's toy theft

Scots sports commentator Andrew Cotter is back with another hilarious voiceover on his two adorable dogs - this time involving a not-so mysterious case of theft.

The exploits of Labradors Olive and Mabel have kept social media users entertained throughout lockdown, with the cheeky pair getting up to no good while the BBC man narates.

And this time, it appears Mabel is the prime suspect in a case of toy robbery.

The Twitter video starts with a guilty looking Mabel clutching a stuffed bone with 'Olive' written across it in her mouth.

Cotter says: "Right if I could take a few details then, how did you come by this item?

"You found it!? Well, that’s convenient. So in that case did you think about handing it in?

"Because we’ve had reports of an object matching this description being stolen.

"That’s ‘amazing’ is it? Someone is suggesting that you might be responsible. No, I won’t tell you who made the allegations."

The camera then pans to a decidedly unimpressed looking Olive sitting nearby, with a noticeable lack of toy to play with.

Cotter tries to reassure his beloved pup that he's "doing his best" to get the answers she so desperately wants, while vowing to get her into a 'protection program', change her name to Suzie and "disguise her as a pug".

Turning back to the prime suspect, he continues: "Right let’s have a think about things and try the truth this time. Your story’s starting to fall apart.

"You’re not helping yourself making threats. Right come on have a think about it.

"You’re too young to be wasting your life, you don’t need to get in this kind of thing. Just give it up."

Right on cue and knowing the game is up, Mabel reluctantly drops her stolen goods.

Cotter then signs off with a brilliant quip, telling the guilty pup: "I’ll see if I can have a word with the prosecutor although he’s a bit of a Rottweiler…. I mean he is actually a Rottweiler.”
