Scots comedian Kevin Bridges hits out at 'robbing' ticket tout sites ahead of tour

Comedian Kevin Bridges has urged fans to avoid ticket tout websites amid a huge demand for briefs for his upcoming tour.

The funnyman, 35, announced he will be touring the UK and Ireland next year with show Kevin Bridges : The Overdue Catch-Up.

He will play 10 dates at Glasgow’s OVO Hydro and one in Aberdeen, all in September, and another in the Granite City in October.

A pre-sale saw thousands of fans stuck in huge online queues.

People took to social media in frustration at long delays and being unable to get seats before they go on general sale tomorrow.

But Bridges revealed more dates will be added.

He has also urged people to only purchase tickets through official channels and not be tempted to click on to ticket exchange sites.

Bridges said: “As always, please don’t use Seatwave, Viagogo and all the other s****y robbing b*****d sites. Today was only a pre-sale. General sale is Friday and there will be some extra dates added.

“Please don’t pay over the ticket price to these. Cheers!”
