Scots comedian Frankie Boyle takes another brutal swipe at Boris Johnson in death joke

Scots comedian Frankie Boyle has once again caused controversy online by saying he had 'bought fireworks' in case Boris Johnson lost his life to coronavirus.

The PM was discharged from intensive care a few weeks ago after battling with Covid-19.

Frankie tweeted last night: "Boris Johnson said contingency plans were made for his death. That’s true - I’d bought fireworks."

Boyle referenced Johnson's recent comments in which he revealed that contingency plans had been put in place to keep the government running in the case that he might not make it.

The PM spent three nights in intensive care at a hospital in London during his battle with coronavirus, but has since went on to make a full recovery and has returned to his duties running the country.

Frankie's tweet caused Twitter chaos with many bashing his brutal comments. They said: "Wishing for someone to die. Such class."

Another added: "Oh dear, that's not very nice."

While one said: "Brutal."

And this is not the first time Boyle has bashed the PM on Twitter as he made a comment about him recently after he welcomed his sixth child with fiancée Carrie Symonds.

Frankie wasn't exactly sending his well wishes to the PM as he tweeted: "I guess we're supposed to ignore the fact that this is a guy for whom parental leave means becoming a parent and leaving."
