A Scots climber who fell 50ft was saved thanks to a daring helicopter rescue.
The man was rescued after falling 50ft from a rockface on Aonach Dubh in Glencoe just after midday on Monday February 8.
He and his climbing partner were from the local area and got into difficulty.
Glencoe Mountain Rescue Team stabilised the stricken climber and improvised splints from used rucksacks and walking poles.

They then carried the man to an area where a helicopter could reach him.
Fortunately Glencoe MRT team leader, Andy Nelson, happened to be in the area at the time with another team member when the drama happened.
He said it was a "tricky" rescue due to the terrain where the man fell.
He added that it required "brilliant" flying from the crew of Stornoway Coastguard helicopter to get close enough to winch the climber onboard.
A message on the Glencoe MRT Facebook page said: “A callout yesterday afternoon to assist a fallen local climber.
“Great teamwork between climbers, rescue team members and Coastguard Rescue Helicopters from Inverness and Stornoway.
“Well done all, including the stoical casualty! Best wishes for a swift recovery.”
