Scots car smash results in flipped vehicle as emergency services race to scene

Shocking pictures have emerged of a car completely overturned after a crash in Fife this afternoon.

The images shared by local group Fife Jammer Locations show the aftermath of an accident involving a silver car on Valley Gardens, Kirkcaldy.

The smash occurred at around 3pm today and it is understood locally that the driver of the vehicle may have had a stroke at the wheel.

Luckily there have not been any fatalities and both police and the Scottish Ambulance Service were in attendance to help and treat the occupants of the vehicles.

Travel operator Stage Coach tweeted about the accident saying: "Due to an overturned vehicle on Valley Gdns Kdy all 11,12 and 32 services will be diverting via Park View and Valley Gdns Sth both ways until road is cleared, apologies."
