A frantic search has been launched for a missing Scots boy in Ayrshire.
An urgent appeal was issued after little Carson Shephard, 7, vanished from Afton Bridgend in New Cumnock this evening, Sunday September 19.
Police took to social media at around 10.20pm to appeal for help in tracking down the youngster.
The public are being urged check garden sheds, gardens and garages.
A police statement issued online reads: "Carson Shephard age 7 Missing from 22 Afton Bridgend New Cumnock Urge Public to check garden sheds, gardens, garages and not to assume someone else has done it – right now 2220hrs."
Anyone with information that may help assist police in their search should get in touch, quoting incident number 2021 0919- 3162.
