Scots boxing champ Josh Taylor has got engaged to his long-term partner Danielle Murphy on a luxury yacht in Dubai.
The self-styled Tartan Tornado was filmed getting down on one-knee while the pair enjoyed a romantic getaway in the UAE.
Josh took to Instagram shortly after to share heartwarming snaps of himself alongside his beaming wife-to-be.
The world boxing star, from Prestonpans, East Lothian, wrote: “So she just said yes!
“Finally plucked up the courage to ask my beautiful girlfriend to be my wife.
“Not before time though.”
Danielle also posted video of the proposal on her own account, where she wrote that she wished her dad could have been there to see it.
Her dad Jimmy tragically passed away suddenly at the age of just 47 last year.
Danielle said: “One of the best days of my life, Josh pulled out all the stops and I couldn’t have asked for a better day.
“Thank you to everyone for the well wishes and love, I’m totally overwhelmed!
“It’s times like this that I wish heaven had a phone so I could phone big Jimmy to tell him my best friend has made me the happiest girl on the planet.”
Dozens of people have sent messages of congratulations to the happy couple, including some of Josh’s superstar boxing mates such as David Haye and Josh Kelly.
