A mum of two has fooled fast food fans with this “McDonald’s meal” cake.
Nurse Bismy Kuriakose, 45, from Glasgow, crafted the cake, featuring a Big Mac, chicken nuggets, chips and a drink, using vanilla sponge and buttercream, with fondant fries and strawberry jam for ketchup.
The labels are made of icing sheets and edible ink. The only inedible items on are the straw and tray.
Bismy has also made a watermelon cake, fish cake and miniature garlic bulb cake. She said: “This cake took around seven hours.”
The mum-of-two is no stranger to disguising cake as everyday food, having also made a watermelon cake, a fish cake and even a miniature garlic bulb cake.
She said: "This particular cake took around seven hours to complete but sometimes they can take much longer.
"I try to make everything look as real as possible, but I always find something I'm not happy with, everyone is always telling me I'm a perfectionist."
Remarkably Bismy only started baking six years ago when her daughter, who was then four, asked her mum to make her a dolly cake for her birthday.
Bismy added: "Before then I could barely turn on the oven let alone bake.
"It was far from perfect but she was my inspiration and thanks to the support from my friends and family I've been able to keep improving since."
