A school teacher from Fife has made it as one of this year's MasterChef finalists and is set to battle it out in the show's first ever all-female final.
Jilly McCord , 42, managed to win a place in the show's historic finale after wowing the judges with a recreation of a dish from renowned chef Raymond Blanc.
Tonight the Dollar Academy teacher will compete for the title of MasterChef champion alongside Irini, a 61-year-old retired banker, and Delia, a 28-year-old police officer from Kent.
Jilly said was shocked to have made it to the final.
"I have always had confidence that I was a decent home cook, but you realise very quickly in this competition that there are other excellent cooks out there," she said.
Scots took to social media to share their delight at the news Jilly had made it into the top three.
One twitter user wrote: "We might be cr** at football, but Jilly’s going to win us that Masterchef trophy # ItsComingHome."
Another said: "Am in love with jilly from masterchef ngl."
A third commented: "Come on Jilly do your best on Master chef, all Fife is behind you."
