Scots Asda customer stunned by £687 charge for pizza

A Scots shopper was left stunned when he was charged £687 for a pizza from Asda.

Colin Harkins, from Glasgow, had scanned his haul through the self-service checkout at a store in the Parkhead area of the city when he was presented with the hefty bill.

He had been expecting to pay around £4 for his quick trip round the shop for some cat food, meat, sour cream, mushrooms and a vegan BBQ jackfruit pizza, as reports Glasgow Live.

So he got the fright of his life when he saw the the total was £707.48.
